Junichi Matsuda

From chart-topping music to film, television, fashion runways and international collaborations.

Beginning his professional career at sixteen, Junichi Matsuda has created music for artists including Ayumi Hamasaki, Nogizaka46 and KAF, as well as the iconic “death ringtone” from the film One Missed Call. His work spans pop music, film, television and the stage.

In recent years, his work has expanded to runway shows in Tokyo and Paris, large-scale live events, and collaborations with artists across Europe, Latin America and Asia. He has also created music for theme parks and corporate brands, shaping diverse experiences through sound.

He also serves as an official ambassador for NeuroVIZR and Scentdays, a scent-streaming initiative, extending his creative activities into wellness and technology.

And now, his creative journey continues as Mr. Adventure — taking his music into new territories where fashion, travel and culture meet. What's next is yet to be written.
